Book Publishers Loosing to Amazon.com

Book publishers are loosing their business to amazon.com which offers a new unique way for authors to get their books out to readers.  Publishers need the well known authors business to be able to pay for new authors publications.  This will eventually limit the amount of books that are offered to society.  Publishing companies need to offer their existing clients new propositions to keep them form exclusively using amazon.com in order for them to keep a more rounded variety of publications.  If not, eventually Amazon will become a sole monopoly over the industry.
