SMCCV SEEKING ADDITIONAL MEMBERS
Educating Social Media to Business’ and Society Members

LOGAN, Utah – Social Media Club of Cache Valley, a charitable nonprofit organization, is currently seeking local business’ and residents to join the club.  SMCCV helps educate its members in social networking and gives them the chance to interact with other members in our community.
SMCCV members meet at 6:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at Sweetly Divine in Logan. They also have Facebook and Twitter pages allowing their members to have constant contact with one another.
“The Social Media Club of Cache Valley is the premier Social Media Club Chapter of Utah. We educate and facilitate networking between our members. We welcome anyone to attend our meetings especially those 45 and older and small business owners,” said Preston Parker, President of CMCCV.
There are great benefits for those who are 45 and older by educating them on how to use social media websites to be able to communicate with family and friends through these sites.  Small business owners can be educated as well on how to promote their businesses through social media websites and being able to provide their customers updates and communicate with them.
SMCCV members have also helped to facilitate social media webpages for local businesses and government agencies such as Bear River Health Department, Expercom, Cache Valley Radio Group and MultiMedia Wise.
For more information about the benefits of SMCCV and how to become a member, please contact Preston Parker at 661-772-7537 or by email at preston.parker@usu.edu.
SMCCV is a 501c3 charitable nonprofit organization that was founded by a national organization in San Francisco.  The SMCCV was launched in Cache Valley Utah Aug. 2009.  The club focuses on educating and facilitating networking to community members and local business owners.
